Wedding Planner

One Year Before the Wedding:

1. Discuss the wedding budget with both sets of parents.
2. Choose the date (have a 2nd choice just in case.)
3. Arrange to meet the clergy who will perform the ceremony
4. Check out/book Bands - Reception Halls - Caterers - Florist

Six months before the Wedding:

1. Book Photographer - Videographer
2. Start assembling Guest Lists - tell your fiance's family to do
    the same
3. Choose & inform your attendants - order Wedding/Bridesmaid
    Dresses
4. Register of China, Crystal, Linen, Flatware, etc

Four Months before the Wedding:

1. Help Select Groom's Tux
2. Complete Guest List - Order Invitations (don't forget
    Guest Book)
3. Book Honeymoon, (passports, shots)
4. Shop for wedding bands
5. Register for premarital classes
6. Meet with Musicians to select Music

Two Months before the Wedding:

1. Order the wedding cake
2. Make-up and hair consultation
3. Finalize the reception menu
4. Address Invitations, RSVP cards - mail. The invitation
   should arrive six weeks before the wedding.
5. Arrange for Limousine or other transportation for wedding
   party.
6. Fitting for wedding gown -arrange Bride's maids fittings.

One month before the Wedding:

1. Final dress fittings
2. Purchase groom's and attendants gifts
3. Write (and send) thank you notes as gifts are received.
    Keep a list.
4. Schedule rehearsal one week prior to the wedding
5. Arrange accomodations for out of town guests.
6. Confirm details with caterer, florist, photographer,
    musicians etc.
7. Confirm hair dresser and make-up.

Two weeks before the Wedding:

1. Review all transportation arrangements
2. Continue with thank-you notes

One week before the Wedding:

1. Check on final details with caterer, florist, photographer,
    musicians, limo and all other suppliers-confirm times.
